Sleeping Beauty

Sandra, such as Sleeping Beauty, gives us her body in a glass coffin.
Captures of its data neurological and biological mediate all its intimate activity around us: her brain, her heart pounding, sweat drops on the surface of her skin … the rhythms of her thoughts and emotions into data on the walls. The device saturates the room with sounds and images caused by sensors. A Synaesthetic Machine lives and beats with the body of Sandra. We are immersed by the data in her body …
But strangely we do not have access to her.
Her body is totally isolated from the world, trapped in a glass sarcophagus. Between she and us, a wall of smoke blur her image, it is guessed, she is hardly distinguishable. Sandra is the interface in the heart of the machine.

No direct contact can interact with her. Exchanges are mediated by the network via one of our daily tools – Facebook -: messages posted on the wall SleepinBeauty are transcribed to Sandra anonymously via a synthetic voice. The machine then scans her body back in response to publish her emotional state. Sandra is a mute medium, inert, lethargic, which communicates only via her states captured. It is an internet processor / a flow sensor which affixes an emotional state of a signal.
