Missions
In 2023, Les Indépendances began a collaboration with echelle1:1 for the production and distribution of « Nexus de l’adoration ».
« Nexus of Adoration » imagines a new religion that aims to sing about everything — from electronic cigarettes to galactic clusters, including fear of the dark or season 3 of Dragon Ball Z. For the duration of a single ceremony, 9 officiants intertwine iconoclastic prayers, pop choruses, rousing speeches, RnB-inspired choreography, and unsettling confessions to celebrate the multiplicity of our experiences of the world. Through the hybridization of various objects and the entanglement of dissonant realities, Nexus of Adoration seeks to create a kind of community founded on multiplicity and heterogeneity.
