Pister les créatures fabuleuses
l'imaginarium
Created in 2021
Based on Baptiste Morizot
Tracking is the art of reading the traces left by animals in the landscape. And knowing how to read, through them, the thousand stories they carry: who, what, where, how, when, why!
Baptiste Morizot, whose words are spoken here by an actress, takes us along the trails to observe living creatures, how they live, how they communicate with each other, and to dream about what this heightened awareness can teach us, as human animals, about our ways of being alive among other living creatures.
In this new creation by l’imaginarium, prominence is given to sound and listening. The invisible can be guessed within sound, allowing us to recompose a whole world of sensitive presences, in the midst of which we joyfully conduct our investigation. This is not about unicorns or dragons, but rather about spending time with the wolves in the south of France, meeting the bears of the Canadian Far North, passing by the foxes, bees, and spiders at the end of the garden, and savouring together the fabulous stories they offer us.
