Musiques et mots pour Emmanuel

Musiques et mots pour Emmanuel

Raimund Hoghe and French dancer and choreographer Emmanuel Eggermont started collaborating over a decade ago. Their creations, such as « L’Après-midi » have been internationally acclaimed. This particular solo piece created by Hogue in 2008 for Emmanuel Eggermont, was not only invited to numerous European countries but also in North and South America, in Asia, as well as Israel last year.
With this new piece, entitled « Music and words for Emmanuel », Raimund Hoghe continues his close collaboration with this extraordinary dancer. This time around, while carefully selecting a wide pallet of songs for Emmanuel Eggermont, he also puts the dance – and dancer – in relation with readings from various texts by Oskar Werner, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Hervé Guibert among others. This universe inhabited by music and words offers Emmanuel Eggermont a wonderful space to express his incomparable artistic talent.
